About UniBw M
The University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBw M) is a federal German university, situated in Neubiberg, a suburb near Munich, Bavaria. Established in 1973, its primary mission is to provide higher education and professional development to officers and officer candidates of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). It combines academic rigor with practical applications tailored to meet the unique demands of military and civilian service.
Role in the project
UniBw M is responsible for fostering collaboration with other projects, while also contributing to the identification of key benchmarks needed to expand sustainable food supply within selected value chains. They participate in stakeholder engagement to validate these findings and identify any remaining trade barriers. Additionally, UniBw M analyses local food systems to assess their impact on food, nutrition, health, and the environment.
